Privacy policy

Updated

This policy explains what information we receive on simplixity.co, what we use it for, and how you can exercise your rights. Simplixity Holding S.A.S. is a Colombian company, so we apply Colombia's data protection law: Law 1581 of 2012 and Decree 1377 of 2013, now compiled in Decree 1074 of 2015.

Who is responsible

Simplixity Holding S.A.S., tax ID (NIT) 902.000.006-6, domiciled in Bogotá D.C., Colombia, at Carrera 45 No. 108 A 50, is the data controller for the information we receive on this site. You can reach us at hello@simplixity.co or on WhatsApp at +57 320 407 4737.

What we receive

  • Contact form: first name, last name, business or profession, country, WhatsApp number, email, and, if you add it, your website or social media link. We also save the site language, the page you wrote from, and, if you arrived through a campaign, that campaign's name.
  • Proof of your consent: when you send the form, we save the date and time, the page, and the IP address and browser from which you accepted this policy.
  • Visit analytics, only if you allow it: with Google Analytics we record pages visited, buttons used, device type, and approximate country. We never send your name, email, or phone number to Google Analytics.
  • Heatmaps, only if you allow them: with Microsoft Clarity we see where people click and how far they scroll on each page, plus recordings of visits that don't include your name. What you type in forms is not recorded.

We don't ask for sensitive data.

What we use it for

  • To answer your request and follow up.
  • To send you Simplixity news and offers by email, if you leave the separate box on the form checked. It's explained below.
  • To understand which parts of the site are useful, so we can improve it.
  • To keep proof of your consent, as the law requires.

We don't sell your information.

Your consent

To send the form, you check the box accepting this policy and the processing of your data so we can handle your request. With that acceptance, you're saved as a prospect and as a contact in Simplixity Chat, our messaging platform, and we write to you by email or WhatsApp only to answer your request. News and offers depend on a separate box, which we explain in the next section.

News and offers by email

The form has a separate, optional box to get Simplixity news and offers by email. It comes checked and you can uncheck it before sending. If you uncheck it, we don't send them. Sending the form doesn't depend on it.

If you leave it checked, we use your email to send you news and offers from novedades@info.simplixity.chat and hola@info.simplixity.chat. As proof, we save the date and time, the exact text of the box, its version, whether it came checked, the page, and the IP address and browser from which you sent the form.

You can unsubscribe at any time, with the link in every email or by writing to hello@simplixity.co. We stop sending news and offers as soon as you ask. If you decline them, we still answer your request.

Where it's stored and who helps us

The form goes through the site's server and is saved in Simplixity Chat. These providers process data on our behalf, and some store it outside Colombia:

  • Vercel, which hosts the site and receives the form before passing it to Simplixity Chat.
  • Amazon Web Services, in the United States, where the Simplixity Chat server runs.
  • Supabase, in the United States, where the Simplixity Chat database runs.
  • Resend, to email us a notice about each request and to send you the news and offers you accepted.
  • Meta, when we write to you on WhatsApp.
  • Google, for visit analytics.
  • Microsoft, for heatmaps (Clarity).

Sanity, where we edit the site's text, does not receive form data.

How long we keep it

We keep form details while we're in conversation with you or while your consent stands. If you ask us to delete them, we do, except for anything a law requires us to keep. Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity keep analytics data for the period each service sets.

Your rights

You can access, update, and correct your information, ask for proof of your consent, ask how we use it, withdraw your consent, and ask us to delete it when there's no legal duty to keep it. If you've written to us and aren't satisfied with our answer, you can file a complaint with Colombia's Superintendence of Industry and Commerce.

How to exercise them

The Simplixity team handles these requests at hello@simplixity.co. Use the subject "Personal data" and include your name, the email or WhatsApp number you used with us, and what you're asking for. For a complaint, tell us what happened and attach any documents you'd like to add.

We answer questions within 10 business days and complaints within 15 business days. If we can't meet that, we'll tell you why and give you a new date, no more than 5 extra business days for a question or 8 for a complaint.

Cookies, analytics, and your choices

Google Analytics uses cookies starting with _ga, and Microsoft Clarity uses the _clck and _clsk cookies, to recognize your browser between visits. Google explains how it uses this data in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services, and Microsoft in its privacy statement.

Visit analytics and heatmaps only start if you allow them in the notice at the bottom of the screen on your first visit. Until you choose, or if you choose "Don't track my visits", we don't load Google Analytics or Microsoft Clarity and their cookies aren't set. You can change your choice at any time from the "Analytics preferences" link at the bottom of every page. If you turn analytics off, we stop sending data about your visits to Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity from that browser and delete their cookies from this site.

Your browser also keeps your analytics choice and, only while the tab is open, what you've typed in the form and the campaign you came from, so you don't lose it if you reload the page.

Effective date and changes

This version is effective as of October 24, 2026. Data is processed while Simplixity Holding S.A.S. operates and within the periods in this policy. If we make an important change, we'll post it on this page with its date before it takes effect.
